Kolonwel Trading (Kolonwel) was founded in 1980.
With the success of its venture with the government, Kolonwel decided to concentrate 90% of its business dealings with the public sector in 1988. It broadened its list of clientele to other government agencies, like Office of the President, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philipines, National Food Authority, Department of Agriculture, Post Office, Department of Health, Bureau of Fire Protection.
\\\ PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY
COMMERCIAL
Kolonwel’s commercial dealings with the private sector, from 1988-1997, involved trading of STPP chemicals for the needs of multinational corporation, like Procter and Gamble, Unilever, and Colgate Palmolive and importation of raw materials from Europe, mainly from Austria, for commercial purposes.
GOVERNMENT
Recently, Kolonwel has made its way into the government needs for protective equipment, vehicles and heavy equipment. In February 2015, it was awarded by the Philippine Bureau of Fire Protection the biggest contract in Asia for the procurement of fire trucks worth USD 57 Million.
Kolonwel is confident for a brighter prospect in its current projects involving helicopters.
