Kolonwel Trading (Kolonwel) was founded in 1980 as a trading company. Its clients then were limited to other government agencies, like Office of the President, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philipines, National Food Authority, Department of Agriculture, Post Office, Department of Health, Bureau of Fire Protection.
